Call, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar inaugurated the country's first computer hardware manufacturing factory at Chandra in Gazipur. Today, Walton's new computer factory has been declared as 'Hiitak Park' on Thursday. Walton Monsafa Jabbar, who is adding his own motherboard, laptop and smartphone to the factory, said, "Walton has everything in everything that needs to be in a hi-tech park. Two-layer motherboard is being made in Walton factory. Within this year, Walton has announced the plan to create multilayer motherboards and create computer, everything like RAM, ASD devices etc.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak said, "Walton has set up a computer factory in Bangladesh. This is a bold initiative. We give this initiative to the people. '
Walton employees said that currently there are 50 people in the motherboard factory. There are 200 motherboards in the day. However, a worker in the laptops and smartphones factory employs about a thousand 200 devices. But if demand increases, production increases.
The computer production unit was established under the name of Walton DG-TECH Industries. Here are the modern instruments of Japan and Germany. There are laptops and computer designs, research and development departments, standard control departments and testing labs.
Walton authorities have claimed that the production targets in the factory are 60 thousand units of laptops, 30 thousand units of desktop and 30 thousand unit monitors. Walton will be able to produce pen drives, keyboards and mouse with other computer components. Laptops can be seen as the last generation of Intel's latest processor laptop. One thousand people are being employed in the factory.
A worker from different districts of the country said that the workers of different districts of the country are working. The minimum salary is 7,500 taka. Eight hours have to work. The number of women workers is comparatively lower.
Walton Group Vice Chairman SM Nurul Alam, Walton High-Tech Industries Limited Chairman SM Shamsul Alam and Managing Director SM Ashraful Alam were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
